Project 6(a)

Centre for Health Care Medical Library,
Learning Centre & Lecture Hall.

Project Title

Centre for Health Care Medical Library, Learning Centre & Lecture Hall.

Rationale

There are limited facilities of books, journals and computers for the education of medical and paramedical staff. There is also a lack of suitable lecture hall space. Currently many classes for the AMP, RMP and PHI’s are conducted under makeshift tents. When it rains classes have to be cancelled. Also as several classes may be conducted in one session some have to be cancelled due to a lack of lecture hall space. There is no facility to use OHP, laptop & projector or other equipment to aid teaching.

It is essential that the above buildings are constructed so that teaching and learning can be conducted efficiently and effectively.
