What is Tamils Health Organization (THO)?

We (THO) are a network of individuals promoting health awareness in expatriate Sri Lankan community as well as  supporting the development of the health care services in the NorthEast of Sri Lanka.

What is Our Mission?

We aims are

- to improve the health of the expatriate people in the UK by:

• Promote health awareness by local radio.
  (In London - Sundays 7:05PM 55.8MW Ask your Doctor talk show)

• free check-up and advice in sporting events.

- to improve the health of the people of the in the NorthEast of Sri Lanka by:

• Assessing the health needs. 
• Highlighting the state of health.
• Harnessing the expertise of the Expatriate Tamil Community. 
• Raise funds & channel resources to meet the identified needs.

What are our Objectives?

• To support the development of the infrastructure of the Health Services in the NorthEast of Sri Lanka. 
• To develop & support the Primary Health Care Services.
• To achieve a high quality Secondary Health Care Services.
• To develop & fund Public Health Projects.
